Okay, so Heather and I have taken sort of a hiatus from blogging, not that we don't love our blog-fans, but because life has been a bit hectic for us for the past couple of months. However, now that most of our trips are over, we wanted to update our blog with all the events that have filled our days for the past while.
First up: Heather ran a half marathon! She did the National Marathon on March 26 through downtown Washington, D.C. with some friends from our ward, and she loved it. You can tell in the picture below. I mean, who has this big of a smile on her face at the end of running for over two hours!? Isn't she pretty!
Here's Elli congratulating her mommy, but trying to steal her medal.
I am extremely proud of Heather for finishing this race. Running does not come naturally to her, but she worked very hard and had a great time. She came in around 2 and a half hours (2:31:19 to be exact). Way to go, Honey!
Heather with Erin and Nicole, a few of her friends who ran with her that day.
