Happy 1st Birthday Sienna! IN FEBRUARY

Sienna 1year old on February 16, 2013
So- I am very late in posting this (especially since I will be posting Elli's bday soon).  The lateness though definitely doesn't take away how unbelievably cute our little Sienna is!!  For Sienna's birthday, we spent the day flying kites and enjoying the outdoors.
The faces of Sienna:

This area is not too far from our apartment.

I love this pic the most!!

I might have been neglectful and forgot the sunscreen!!  It was such a pleasant day, slightly windy and cloudy and not too hot that it just didn't occur to me.  Sienna only got a little on the cheeks and my hair shaded me I guess, but the sun was successful in its quest when it came to Todd and Elli.
While putting aloe vera on Elli, Sienna took advantage of our distraction and enjoyed one of her favorite activities: Taking out all the clean diapers and putting them in the trash.
Finally Birthday singing time!  Little sweetie's heart shaped cupcake coming her way.
She was very happy with the yummy chocolate icing all to herself.
Elli was a fan too! She was too excited to pick it up.

So cute!

All cleaned up- Present time!

Tissue paper is just as fun as any gift!

Here is a link to a birthday video of Sienna playing with the drums.  For some reason I couldn't include it here, so after hours of trying to make it work- a link will have to do!

Sienna at 1 year old:
Loves to dance (bob head, bend knees, and shake arms), loves to give kisses, and loves to do anything that her sister is doing.  She has a great set of screaming pipes and is a very good eater.  We call her our little bird because if anyone is eating, she will be next to you with her mouth so wide that she could fit her fist in there.  Sienna loves to put anything into the trash and dump out all containers she can find.  She loves to bang on her ball shoot or anything else with her hammer and enjoys music of any kind. Sienna started walking a couple weeks before her first birthday and was independently running around soon after.  She loves to run up to her daddy and give him a big hug when he comes home. She loves her pink teddy and has sucked its face to death. She says: Uh oh, mama, dada, daw (for dog), and probably more that I don't understand.  She understands Elli's name, put on your shoes, ear, nose, tummy, let's go, eat, no, and book.  She has cherubim cheeks, 4 teeth: two top two bottom, some great thigh and wrist fat rolls, long lashes and blue blue eyes, and likes to pat your back when you hold her.

My most favorite things about Sienna is that she is such a happy active baby, how she adores her sister and daddy, how much she enjoys reading books, and that she folds her arms when we say the word "prayer."  She will bring you book after book if you let her and read with you forever.  She will bring it over to you, put her back to you, and then plop herself right in your lap each time all by herself.  Sienna is so sweet and laughs so easily.   She has a hearty, almost hoarse laugh different than Elli's girly one,  but I love it just as much!  We love our sweet smiley Sienna sooo much and can't imagine our life without her in it!

Take another look at Sienna and Flashback to Elli at her 1 year.

They definitely are sisters!  I love my sweet girls, both so full of personality!

Here are a few more little videos of Sienna from before she was 1, but I don't think all our family far away got to appreciate them yet! Again the links are all I could figure out!

All those temples and buildings are amazing looking! So cool to see such architecture like that!

Gross about having to clean yourself with a hose after using the restroom barefoot...eww.

The Gardens by the Bay looks amazing. It looks like it went so high, especially the looking down pictures!

Both of your girls are getting so big! They are so adorable! I can't wait for you to come back to visit so they can play with their cousins!!

So, I meant to post that last comment on the previous post, which I copied and pasted...twice (I thought I could delete them myself, but I don't think I can)...sorry... =)

Anyways, Sienna is getting so big! She does very cute big "cheese" smiles! Love it! She looks like she had a great time with her cupcake. I love the bib she's wearing and how far over her arms it goes!

I love how Eli copies everything like the statue poses and Todd's actions. She put on such a sad face for the sunburn pic!

The girls are so cute and are even wearing the same dress at their 1 year party! Love it!
