The National Cathedral
Last weekend we had a rare treat; my parents came to visit Heather and me. We spent most of our weekend relaxing, watching movies, and playing games. We had a wonderful time. Since my parents were in town, we couldn't waste the chance to go and see at least one of the amazing sites around DC. My mom and dad choose the National Cathedral, and we were happy to oblige. We had never been there before, and we were pleasantly surprised at how fascinating it was. We saw a miniature statue of Martin Luther King, Jr., a genuine moon rock incorporated into a space-themed stain glass window, and many other interesting sites. It was a bit of Europe right here in the States. Here are some pics.

Fun! It looks beautiful. Heather, at first I could not figure up what was with your dyed black, slick hair. Then I realized it was a headband and felt a surge of relief. Please don't dye your hair black. It wouldn't suit you.
I enjoyed the National Cathedral on my trip to D.C. years ago...very impressive.
I never would have thought to include that into DC sightseeing. Neat!
We never made it there when we lived there. Looks beautiful!
Thats incredible i didnt think there was anything like that in America, we have a Cathedral about 20 minutes away from us that looks exactly the same, i had to double take when i saw the photos!!! So the next trip with your parents and Heather is over here !!!:)
